Initial virtual property rights include the ability to select the title and description of a placemark, a 2-dimensional image, and 3-dimensional geometry on one's Mars virtual property.

Mars Territory Extraterrestrial Property Rights


Initial real property rights are in the form of a quitclaim deed from Mars Territory™ LLC.  To make these quitclaim deeds valuable, Mars Territory ™ LLC contributes to organizations, such as the Mars Society and the National Space Society, that aim to explore, develop, and settle Mars and other extraterrestrial properties.

Mars Territory will work to increase the value of both sets of property rights by:
  • developing new virtual capabilities in Facebook and other computer games
  • contributing 10% of revenue to organizations and projects developing Mars and space.
  • if Mars Territory™ LLC makes enough money, the company will send its own missions to Mars to explore and claim land.
